My work moves between research, software, writing and sport. The common thread is turning questions into projects.
As a co-author of two IEEE conference papers, I built the retrieval and fusion layers for systems that help large language models work across structured and unstructured financial information. Working independently, I built a cloud simulation of New Jersey's $2.2 billion ANCHOR property-tax relief program and shared its findings with state agencies.
I'm a co-inventor on a U.S. patent application for an AI-powered assistive device that conveys a blind user's surroundings through vibration patterns, and on a device design registered in India. I've written two books: one about creative work with AI, and a memoir from volunteering with Special Olympics New Jersey.
On court, I'm a nationally ranked junior squash player. My school has no squash team, so I've built my own path, and I've tried to make that path easier for others through Squash GhostingX, a free solo-training app, and Manifest Squash, which brings free coaching and equipment to young players from underserved communities.
Qualities, and where to see the evidence.
- Curiosity and analysisAsking how different kinds of information fit together, from financial filings and market commentary to public data on a relief program.
- Ideas into working thingsA policy simulation, a training app, a learning platform, an education channel: each one live or ongoing, not left as a sketch.
- Independent learningFive credentials earned outside school, and two internships in data engineering and AI analytics.
- Communicating what I learnTwo published books, two co-authored IEEE papers, and videos and explainers that make AI accessible.
- Initiative and communityCo-founding Manifest Squash, volunteering with Special Olympics New Jersey, and mentoring younger players.
- Discipline and persistenceTen to twelve hours of squash training a week, year-round, without a school team to organize it.
